Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026 · ← Back to SARA
1. Nature of Service
SARA Open is provided as-is for informational and educational purposes only. It is a conversational interface to SIRP's OmniSense security intelligence platform, available in free and paid tiers.
SARA Open is not a substitute for professional security operations, certified security expertise, or legal advice. Any guidance provided should be validated by qualified security professionals before being acted upon in a production environment.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use SARA Open. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.
3. Paid Plans & Billing
- Free trial: new users who sign in with a business email address receive a 7-day Pro trial. No credit card is required for the trial
- Subscriptions: paid plans (Pro, Team) are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Prices are displayed at checkout and on the billing page
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
- Cancellation: you may cancel at any time via Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for the remaining period
- Refunds: refund requests within 7 days of a charge may be granted at SIRP's discretion. Contact [email protected]
- Plan changes: SIRP reserves the right to change plan pricing with 30 days' advance notice to active subscribers
4. API Access
- Programmatic API access is available to Pro and Team plan users via API keys
- API keys are your responsibility. Do not share or expose them in client-side code
- Rate limits apply per plan tier and are enforced per hour. Exceeding limits results in temporary throttling (HTTP 429)
- Automated usage must stay within the rate limits of your plan. Sustained abuse may result in key revocation
5. Custom Plugins
- Pro and Team users may create custom webhook actions and A2A agent integrations ("plugins") that connect SARA to external HTTP endpoints
- You are solely responsible for the endpoints you configure, the credentials you provide, and the actions those endpoints perform
- SIRP Labs is not liable for any damage, data loss, or unintended actions caused by plugin execution, whether in dry-run or live mode
- Plugin credentials are encrypted at rest but are sent in plaintext to your configured endpoints at execution time
- All new plugins start in dry-run mode. You must explicitly enable live execution after reviewing what the plugin does
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIRP LABS, INC. IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF SARA OPEN, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Actions taken based on SARA's guidance or analysis
- Execution of custom plugins or webhook actions you configure
- Data sent to third-party endpoints through plugins or LLM providers
- Service interruptions, errors, or inaccuracies in responses
SIRP's total liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
7. Acceptable Use
By using SARA Open, you agree that you will not:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or reproduce the underlying system prompts, model weights, or proprietary logic
- Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to scrape content or generate excessive requests beyond your plan's rate limits
- Attempt prompt injection, jailbreaking, or other techniques intended to circumvent SARA's operating guidelines
- Use the service to generate content intended to facilitate real-world attacks or harm
- Resell or represent SARA's outputs as your own proprietary intelligence product without attribution
- Share API keys or allow unauthorized access to your account
- Use plugins to automate destructive actions without appropriate safeguards and human oversight
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SIRP Labs, Inc., its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the service in violation of these terms
- Actions performed by plugins or integrations you configure
- Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights
- Content you submit through the service
9. Abuse and Suspension
Abuse of the service — including automated scraping, prompt injection attempts, rate limit circumvention, and excessive requests — may result in immediate account or IP suspension without notice. SIRP reserves the right to determine what constitutes abuse at its sole discretion.
10. Data Ownership
- Your content: you retain ownership of the queries, IOCs, and data you submit to SARA
- SARA's outputs: responses generated by SARA are licensed to you for your internal security operations, research, and reporting. You may not redistribute them as a competing product or service
- Aggregate data: SIRP may use anonymized, aggregate usage data to improve the service
11. Service Availability
SARA Open may be modified, restricted, or discontinued at any time, with or without notice. SIRP makes no guarantees regarding uptime, response accuracy, or continuity of service. For paid plans, SIRP will make commercially reasonable efforts to maintain service availability.
12. Intellectual Property
SARA, OmniSense, and the SIRP platform are trademarks and proprietary products of SIRP Labs, Inc. The SARA Open source code is available under its published license. Proprietary components (system prompts, knowledge base content, enrichment pipelines) remain the property of SIRP Labs.
13. Export Compliance
You are responsible for compliance with applicable export control laws and regulations, including US Export Administration Regulations (EAR). You may not use SARA Open from, or on behalf of, any country, entity, or person prohibited by such regulations.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. For material changes, we will notify active subscribers via email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of SARA Open after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
